Whether it’s starting lines, speed workouts, or fast training runs, this road shoe is all of the fast you need to bust through some PRs and win some segments. It’s got an updated engineered knit upper for a comfortable and breathable fit. It’s got Altra EGO midsole foam for responsiveness and direct connection to the ground, with a touch of firmness. We kept a lot of the great features of the classic Racer, including the low 22mm stack height for quick turnover and a roomy toe box and zero drop for natural movement. The Escalante Racer 2 is one of the most direct, no-BS shoes we’ve ever crafted.
